1. Certification Test – Register

  • The Programmers Certification Test website is not available in other languages. Please use your browser’s translation feature if needed.

  • There is no age or eligibility restriction for taking the Programmers Certification Test.

    However, due to the nature of the certification, identity verification is required. At the time of your first registration, you must complete identity verification via mobile phone or i-PIN.

2. Check Test Schedule

  • Go to Test Schedule & Registration and select the test you want to register for, then click the Register button on the right.

If you are taking a special test organized by a company or school, please use the registration link provided separately by your organization.

3. Identity Verification

  • You must verify your identity.

  • Choose between mobile phone verification or i-PIN verification.

  • Only one account can be identity-verified. (Multiple accounts cannot be verified with the same identity.)

  • If you do not complete identity verification, you cannot check your results after taking the test.

  • It is not possible to transfer test registration history between accounts or merge multiple accounts.

If identity verification is not possible

  • If you have already completed identity verification with another account, you can remove identity verification from that account and then complete identity verification with a new account.

  • To remove identity verification

    • In the Profile menu, click Remove Identity Verification in the name section.

    • If there is already a test history on the account, identity verification cannot be removed directly. In this case, please contact us through the chat support channel.

      Once identity verification is removed, you will no longer be able to view your scores. If you have already taken a test, download your score report before requesting removal.

4. Payment

Coupons must be registered in advance under Coupons/Test Tickets before use

Select Test Subject (Programming Language)

  • Choose the test subject (programming language) you want to take and proceed to the next step.If you have a coupon, select it from Coupons/Test Tickets.

Complete Payment

  • Carefully review your test taker information, registration details, rules, and total payment amount before proceeding.Payment can be made by credit card.

5. Confirm Registration

Once payment is complete, you can view your registration details on the confirmation page, and a KakaoTalk notification will be sent.You can also check your registration anytime under Application details.

Cancel Registration

Go to Test Registration → My Registrations → View Details,

then select the registration you want to cancel.

It may take about 3 to 5 business days from the cancellation date for the credit card payment to be fully refunded.

Am I eligible to take the Programmers certification Test?

There is no age or eligibility restriction for taking the Programmers Certification Test.

Can foreigners or minors register for the Programmers Certification Test?

I want to cancel my registration for the Programmers Certification Test.

Go to Test Registration → My Registrations → View Details,

then select the registration you want to cancel.

Where is the test center for the Programmers Certification Test? (Overseas test takers)

The certification test is conducted online, so you can take it from any location with internet access.

Please note the following:

  • The test is held in Korean Standard Time (KST).

  • Take the test in a private space with no other people present.

  • Ensure a stable network environment that meets the minimum requirements.

  • Check your setup in advance through the demo test.

Is identity verification required to register for the Programmers Certification Test?

Yes, identity verification is required.

In unavoidable cases, you may register without verification, but if you do, your certificate cannot be issued even if you take the test.

To register without verification:Click Register, then select Register without verification at the bottom of the identity verification page.

I missed the registration period for the Programmers Certification Test. Can I register late?

There is no additional registration period for the coding certification test.Since regular tests are held once a month, you can register for the next test session instead.

Must I use a card owned by the test taker to pay the Programmers Certification Test fee?

No. Payment can be made by anyone, regardless of whether they are the test taker.

Can I transfer a registered Programmers Certification coupon or test voucher to another account?

No. Once a Programmers Certification coupon or test voucher is registered, it cannot be canceled or transferred to a different account.

What should I do if I changed my name after identity verification?

Go to your Profile → Name section and complete identity verification again with your updated name.

Can I remove my identity verification for the Programmers Certification Test?

Go to Profile → Name section → Remove identity verification.

You can verify your identity with only one account.If your account isn’t verified, you won’t be able to check your test results.Test registrations or results cannot be transferred or merged between multiple accounts.

I can’t remove my identity verification for the Programmers Certification Test.

If your account has previous test records, you cannot remove identity verification yourself.Please contact the support channel for assistance.

I want to change my email address for the Programmers Certification Test.

You can change it from My Page on Programmers.

  • Click your nickname in the top-right corner → My Page → Account Settings → Edit

  • Under Basic Information, enter your new email and click Change Email

  • A verification email will be sent — once verified, you can log in with the new address

  • Log out, then log back in to the Coding Certification Test website
